Broken Oak Limb at the Three Rivers Library

This old oak tree that has stood next to the parking lot at the Three Rivers branch of the Tulare County Library for many decades has lost a primary limb. Branches landed on and around the Friends of the Library storage access, impeding access to the unit until a sawyer can come to clear the downed wood.

In September, 2015 a large oak limb crashed on the Kaweah Post Office, which did not fare as well as this steel container. However the post office was saved and repaired with voluntary help.
